We chose, as the illustrations in this site, the works of Umberto Boccioni, a futurist painter of the early 20s. As the website serves as an introduction to digital media in and around AUP, futurism, art that attempts to resolve the disjunction between the human spirit and that of the new mechanical ( or in our case, digital) age, as particularly apt.
